TRUE METRIX® Control Solution Levels – What Each Bottle Is For

• Level 1 – Low Glucose ControlLevel 1 control solution is formulated with a low, known glucose concentration. It is used to verify that TRUE METRIX blood glucose meters and test strips accurately measure results at the lower end of the glucose testing range. This level helps confirm proper system performance for low glucose readings.
• Level 2 – Normal Glucose Control
  Level 2 control solution contains a mid-range glucose concentration designed to simulate typical or expected blood glucose values. It is the most commonly used level for routine quality control checks to ensure meter accuracy during normal day-to-day testing.
• Level 3 – High Glucose Control
  Level 3 control solution is prepared with a high glucose concentration. It is used to confirm accurate system performance at the upper end of the testing range and helps validate that the meter and strips respond correctly to elevated glucose levels.
